Rev. Dr. Teke John, the Executive President of the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC), dedicated the Rehabilitation Training Center of Excellence (RTCE) in Mutengene to God Almighty. His words during the occasion was filled with gratitude as he acknowledged the generous support from our partners in the Netherlands and the unwavering assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs, which continues to propel CBC’s mission of equitable healthcare for all.

Eric Ackerman director of Liliane Fonds, Gerben Eversdijk the director of AFAS Foundation, Nickey Program Manager at LF in charge of Cameroon, Otto Weyers, the Chief Architect and Marko Filipovic staff at AFAS Foundation all from the Netherlands were given symbolic gift from the institution.
With deep appreciation, he also recognized the tireless efforts of the staff who worked diligently to bring this vision to fruition.

In his dedication, Rev. Dr. John fervently called upon God’s will and presence, ensuring that this remarkable facility becomes a source of hope. He envisioned it training compassionate professionals who will make a profound impact in alleviating suffering, particularly among children with disabilities and the most vulnerable within our communities. This mission aligns perfectly with the call of Jesus to serve the poor and needy, and together, we can transform lives and uplift spirits.
